Rick started a new job yesterday. For the first time in most of Eli's life Rick has to go into an office. He's always worked mostly at home. So this morning when Eli got up he walked all around the house looking for Rick. He came to me and this is how the conversation went...
E: Mom, where's daddy?
M: He went to work.
E: (eye's bugging out) AGAIN?!
M: Yep. Everyday this week.
E: Why?
M: He has a new job and has to work 5 days then he gets Saturday with us.
E: (slaps his head and rolls his eyes) Too much work!
Poor guy. He misses his daddy and it's only been a day and a half.

- I've been married since 1995 to the most wonderful Christian man. I have 2 kids (daughter born 2001 and son born 2006) both born on my wedding anniversary (So my husband has one date to remember all that's important in his life). I love the Lord Jesus with all my heart. I am learning daily to follow Him no matter what. He has blessed me beyond measure. In all my adult life I have leaned on 2 verses. Exodus 14:14 "The Lord will fight for you, you need only to be silent". Philippians 3:12b "I press on so that I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus."
